The first kosher Subway in North America has opened at the Jewish Community Center of Cleveland. The menu adheres to kosher dietary laws, eliminating ham and bacon while serving soy cheese and adding specialty items such as corned beef and pastrami. Molinari’s in Mentor has introduced 30 new items to its menu. A set of 15 SNAX, similar in size to tapas, and 15 new desserts are being offered, says chef-owner Randal Johnson. SNAX can be ordered as appetizers or independently, and include crabcake sliders with chipotle mayo, smoked duck wings with a honey soy glaze, and the runaway favorite, Kobe beef sliders with aged Tillamook cheddar.
