Dining room - 2008 ymca dream home

Room Concept:
“Come forth into the light of things. Let nature be your teacher.” This quote by William Wordsworth served as the inspiration for this room, both literally and figuratively. The color palette is tight to visually expand the space. One color plus white is foolproof, timeless and cost effective. When the owner wants to change he merely swaps out a few accessories, creating less waste for a landfill. A majority of the room has been fashioned from recycled and restyled things from a salvage store or foraged from or inspired by nature. The outcome is fun, casual, dramatic and user-friendly.
