“It’s aged in a barrel like wine. It takes on a little bit of a sour, acidic flavor. It’s a wonderful beer to drink with burgers or fried chicken,” says general manager Nolan Cleary.
“It is a big, thick heavy beer. It has a malty texture and has a coffee and toffee sweetness,” says chef Mike Nowak.
“It has citrus and chocolate malt characteristics. You’re anticipating something heavy like a stout and a porter, but it is a much different, hoppy taste,” says manager Christian Johnson.
“We have an exclusive on Hofbrau Maibock in Cleveland. It is medium bodied, not too dark and not too light. It is a little bit sweet but not super sweet. It’s an easy-drinking spring beer,” says general manager Cindy Otonoga.
