Chris McConnell Told us this was coming. When he recalled how he constructed a 13 ½-foot-tall horse from mostly spare wood (“The Experience,” August 2008), he told us his next project would be building a larger-than-life cow. And now, the Cleveland Institute of Art student’s latest creation, a Holstein made from recycled car hoods, sits in the middle of Settler’s Village, a shopping center in Middlefield. We were impressed when McConnell e-mailed us pictures of his 15-foot-long, 7 ½-foot-tall bovine. Now all he has to do is tackle that 100-yard-long dragon he was telling us about.
