Singles File: Melissa Plute

Self-employed convention transportation and special event manager

>> The perfect date: A really good restaurant, some place trendy and different, and great conversation

>> Something most people don’t know about me: I really love going to the dentist. I go religiously every six months.

>> Biggest turn-off: Any type of tobacco use. I think it’s totally gross. It’s a deal-breaker. It’s mostly for the health reasons — I want to be with someone the rest of my life; I don’t want them to abandon me halfway through.

>> I own too many: Scarves — because of the Cleveland weather, I wear one every day in the winter. I would say I own 35 to 40.

>> My favorite ... place in Cleveland: Medina Square, because I love House of Hunan and Marie’s Café, and I go shopping for my dog at D.O.G. Apparel. She has to look as good as I do. ... book: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch ... vacation destination: I want to visit the Greek Isles. It looks absolutely amazing to me — they look fake, they’re so beautiful. ... dessert: White chocolate raspberry cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.

>> My best feature: My smile

>> My bad habit: I run late a lot. I don’t know why, but I hate feeling rushed. I don’t like that feeling, but I work best under pressure.

>> Blonds or brunets: I’m attracted to tall, dark and handsome.

>> Early, late or right on time: I would say fashionably late. I think it’s just because I pack my schedule too much. I’m always going froorm one thing to another.

>> Beer, wine or martinis: A bellini — it’s champagne and peach nectar. It’s refreshing, but I’m not a big drinker and champagne is a special, celebratory drink.

>> Roses or chocolates: Roses are awful, there is no thought in them at all. They’re overdone.

>> My No. 1 dating rule: Just be honest with each other.
