Funky Diva Purse Auction

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center
Forty local artists designed and created hand-bags for the Funky Diva Purse Auction, held at Parish Hall and benefiting the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.

More than 200 guests took part in the silent auction, while Q104’s Rebecca Wilde, Fox 8 News’ Kenny Crumpton, The Plain Dealer’s Kim Crow and Sally Stewart judged the entries. Participants included Stacey Allen, Cheryl Brooks, Bruce Edwards and Jocelyn Williams.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of baked pasta, garlic cheese bread, potstickers and chicken salad appetizers while DJ Step One played a mix of songs from Motown to modern day.

The event raised more than $13,000 for the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
