Trent Richardson is a phenomenal human being (“Strength Test,” September 2012). He is a total freak of nature and has the right work ethic to make it in a city like Cleveland. Love this kid.
I’ve been following this kid since his junior year at Escambia High, and there was no doubt he was going to go pro. Now I’m a Browns fan by way of New York and Pensacola. Trust me, Trent is no LeBron, so fall in love with no fear.
Anarchy in the U.S.A.
The anarchist subculture is growing (“A Bridge Too Far,” October 2012). Erick Trickey captures the mixture of farce and tragedy well.
What is Mike Roberts’ five-year vendatta against the Port Authority (“Port Nowhere,” October 2012)? He conveniently fails to mention the second-largest use of funds under the levy includes funding for a pedestrian bridge from the Mall to the lakefront, as well as other access improvements, or that the increase still puts the Port’s portion of taxes at one-third of the Metroparks and one-fifth of Tri-C.
