Boston Mills Artfest II 
 July 5 (preview night), $44 advance, $45 at the door; July 6 & 7, $8, $6 seniors 60 and older, and students 13-21. History: Celebrating its 42nd year, Boston Mills Ski Resort hosts artists in June and July. "People don't expect to see it in the [Cuyahoga Valley] National Park, let alone a ski resort," says Artfest director Ron Beahn. Medina Art in the Park 
 July 21, free History: For 40 years, this Medina County Art League event has raised money to fund scholarships for Medina County children pursuing a degree in the arts. More than 130 exhibiting artists and 15,00 people are expected this year, says Jo-Ann Rettig-Rau, treasurer of the Medina County Art League. Cain Park Arts Festival 
 July 12, free; July 13 & 14, $5 (13 and older) History: Thirty-six years ago, artist Audrey Feinberg convinced Cleveland Heights leaders to host an art festival in Cain Park that maintains quality and budget.
