105. Grounds Crew
The 21-year-old ballpark is getting a face-lift to bring fans closer to the action, better tie the team to the city and offer new food options.

Progressive Field or Jacobs Field. Winning or losing. Cleveland Indians fans have always taken pride in their ballpark. Over the years, it has seen new features: a new video board in 2004, Heritage Park in 2007, Kids Clubhouse in 2012. But this spring marks the biggest improvements to the stadium — changes developed through four years of fan surveys and research of other baseball stadiums and sports arenas, says Andrew Miller, Indians senior vice president of strategy and business analytics. "People wanted a more social experience," he says. "They know where their friends are in the ballpark. They want to go and explore."
