In Tune

Ashley Brooke Toussant
With Regards to You

Ashley Brooke Toussant's voice floats from song to song like the whimsical balloon she sings about on this five-track EP. The folksy singer-songwriter crafts the most delicate, tender songs filled with blissful everyday musings, including standout "Days and Days," a melodic tune with utterly fragile vocals.

(Exit Stencil Recordings)

Boys is the sound bite of this generation. From lamenting about aging on the power-pop-driven "Mad Men" to rebelling against it on the hooky "Theme for Boys," each song is a snapshot of the pain, pleasure and doubt of growing up. Boys is the best Herzog album yet and could mean a breakout moment for the Cleveland band.

Cloud Nothings
Here and Nowhere Else
(Carpark Records)

Dylan Baldi describes Here and Nowhere Else as "more positive, less 'f--k everything.' " Produced by Grammy-nominated John Congleton, the noise-rock band's eight-song album feels more sophisticated and sounds more melodic and poppy, but still rings loud and heavy on "Psychic Trauma" and "No Thoughts."
