She combs through celebrity style mags to bring duds to her store including Seven for all Mankind and Red Engine Jeans, the Nueva women’s line from Montreal and Body Language from Paris.

Fashion Studio, 8582 E. Washington St., Bainbridge, (440) 708-2952. Owner Lena Kanter carries American designers in addition to her own custom designs, sizes 8 through 30. She sells a special plus-size collection as well as handcrafted jewelry from Russia and Ukraine.

At Fine Points, store owner and nationally known fiber artist Liz Tekus offers custom knitwear, a distinctive selection of fibers and yarn supplies from around the world. Owner Linda Goik regularly hosts classes such as jewelry-making, self-portrait and silk-painting. in which kids and adults can create their own scarves.

From designer denim to sexy evening silhouettes, this shop offers fresh fashions by Nanette Lepore, Custo Barcelona and Juicy Couture. Inventory changes constantly. Owners Tracey and Kathleen McHale say they offer a trendy spin on the classics and a classy spin on the trends.

Perfect Bride, 19126 Old Detroit Road, Rocky River, (440) 331-5113. What more could a girl ask for? The store features a huge selection of trendy and classic dresses, veils, shoes and jewelry to help make the big day special.

Piece Unique, 8426 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls, (440) 543-4535. A consignment boutique that showcases fashion and home décor, Piece Unique focuses on fine women’s clothing and high-end bags and shoes.

Pinky’s Daily Planner, Tower Press Building, 1900 Superior Ave., Suite 329, Cleveland, (216) 402-2536. Seamstress and designer Stephanie Fralick’s business, “the modern clothes-closet for spirited girls,” features her “1965-meets-two-years-from-now” designs. Stephanie will custom-tailor her designs, and shoppers can browse clothing and accessories by up-and-coming designers from around the world, such as Laurel Wells and fashions by Play. Her showroom is open by appointment only. Photography by Robert Banks adorns the walls and is available for purchase.

Winds of Change, 37 W. Orange St., Chagrin Falls, (440) 247-2420. Owner Angela Huang travels the globe in search of romantic and urban styles for the creative and spirited. You’ll find yoga wear, dresses by Juan Carlos, lingerie from Betsey Johnson and eclectic jewelry from local artists.

You Two Inc., 3475 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Heights, (216) 932-2222. Couturier brothers Louis and Rudy Bielert open early to cater to working women. They specialize in special-occasion dresses, eveningwear, suits and daywear you can’t find in department stores.
