Tune In

Arianna Körting is one of the most accomplished 13-year-olds we’ve run across in a while. Sure, she performs with the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus, the Contemporary Youth Orchestra Chorus and the Radio Disney Pop Squad, but that’s just the beginning. Later this month, the Gates Mills teenager, who also studies classical piano in the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Prep Division with Gerardo Teissonnière, will graduate to national exposure with a spot on the popular “From the Top” radio program. During the episode’s March 2 taping at the New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall in Boston, Körting performed Maurice Ravel’s “Jeux d’eau” and chatted with host (and part-time Clevelander) Christopher O’Riley about her life. If you want to hear the performance, it airs on WCLV 104.9 on April 19 at 5 p.m.
