Cleveland Metroparks "reflections of Nature" Quilt Show

The “Reflections of Nature” Quilt Show, an annual celebration of nature through textile art, will be held at the Rocky River Nature Center in the Rocky River Reservation Oct. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is a juried show by local quilt artists who use nature as inspiration. The free event will also include lectures, demonstrations, local quilt guilds, a variety of quilting, sewing and fabric art vendors, hands-on activities and more. “Best of Cleveland” Party

The inaugural Cleveland Magazine “Best of Cleveland” Party presented by Mercedes Benz of North Olmsted will take place Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Join us as we showcase some of the best food, drink and entertainment the city has to offer, along with some other unique offerings served “hot and fresh” out of Cleveland Magazine’s October “Best of Cleveland” issue. Great Lakes Theater Festival

Great Lakes Theater Festival’s Fall Repertory, showing now until Oct. 21, features the Broadway musical farce “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost” at Playhouse Square Center’s Ohio Theatre. Flashes of Hope's Swing into Style

Judson Laipply, creator of the “Evolution of Dance” will kick off the “Big Shots and Little Stars” runway show at Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will be treated to cocktails and food from Eton Chagrin Boulevard restaurants and models will include regional industry leaders such as Michael Belkin from LiveNation and Fred Nance from Squire Sanders. Farm to Table

Chefs from Blue Canyon Kitchen * Tavern, Blue Point Grille, Flying Fig, Vue Restaurant and many more gathered on the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Geis Terrace Aug. 28 for the annual Farm to Table benefit. Moderated by Feast! editorial director Laura Taxel, guests included fire food & drink owner and chef Doug Katz and Michael Ruhlman, author of “The Reach of the Chef.” The event benefited the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Green Corps program and North Union Farmers Market.
