What will you do with your extra day of life this year?
You are invited to join more than 800 Cleveland-area women who will be taking advantage of this opportunity and attend the fifth-annual Go Red For Women Breakfast and Health Expo on February 29 (leap day).
The American Heart Association will be “rolling out the red carpet” for this event at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel — starting at 7 a.m. with free health screenings and health exhibits, plus a red silent auction.
Educational breakout sessions, presented by Merck, University Hospitals Heart & Vascular Institute and KeyBank, on a variety of health topics will be offered during the morning.
The highlight of the morning will be the breakfast program led by event chairperson Barbara Ann Reynolds, president of Real Living Realty One. A heart-healthy breakfast will be served, and the keynote speaker, Emmy award-winning actress Tracey Conway, will tell the true story of her sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 38 — while she was on stage. Wrapping up the program will be the popular red fashion show, presented by Macy’s.
To reserve your table of 10, or to purchase an individual ticket to this red-hot, red-carpet fundraising event, call (216) 619-5143.
Nationally sponsored by Macy’s and Merck, and locally presented by University Hospitals Heart & Vascular Institute, Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s year-round awareness and call-to-action campaign to keep women heart healthy.
