Beach Joys

Mike Crissman

The Long Quest to revive the famous Euclid Beach Park carousel took a significant step forward this spring, as ground was broken in April on an all-glass pavilion attached to the Western Reserve Historical Society. The refurbished horses and chariots should be ready to ride by late 2013. “Our having it here for the long run means we’re going to create new memories for people and really link generations,” WRHS president and CEO Gainor Davis says of the $2 million project. “It’s one of Cleveland’s most historic treasures.”
