Friday, February 1 National Wear Red Day Wear red to show your support of Go Red For Women —the movement that raises awareness for heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women in America.
Sunday, February 3 Go Red For Women Sunday Churches will conduct health fairs to provide opportunities for health screenings and disseminate educational materials about women and heart disease.
Saturday, February 9 (Noon – 5 p.m.) Go Red at the Library The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library, along with The Cedar Lee Special Improvement District, presents Go Red at the Library. Family-friendly, heart-healthy activities will be available for all ages.
Monday, February 11 Color me red Raun Hairdressers and Day Spa in Willoughby will host a day of complimentary red hair coloring for 60 women —in recognition of the statistic that one woman passes away from heart disease every 60 seconds.
Friday, February 29 Go Red For Women Breakfast and Health Expo More than 800 women will take advantage of this year’s extra day of life (leap day) to attend the fifth-annual Go Red For Women Breakfast and Health Expo at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.

Saturday, May 10 Start! Lake/Geauga Heart Walk Lake Metroparks Farmpark is the site of this annual walk.
Sunday, May 11 Power To End Stroke Sunday This Sunday is dedicated to education about stroke because of its impact on the African-American community.
Thursday, May 15 Start! Medina County Heart Walk Walkers and guests meet near Medina Square on this evening walk.
Saturday, May 17 Start! Lorain County Heart Walk Walk starts/ends at Avon Commons.

Sunday, August 10 Start! Cleveland Heart Walk More than 8,000 walkers will meet at Gateway Plaza, next to Jacobs Field, to walk through downtown.
Saturday, September 20 African-American Family Wellness Walk More than 2,500 walkers take part each year. (SITE TO BE ANNOUNCED.)
