There was magic in the air at the Intercontinental Hotel.  The Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center hosted over 300 guests for the party that included a Chinese raffle and silent auction.  A live auction was also held and some of the items up for bid were trips to Colorado, Lake Tahe and Lake Chautauqua.

     After dinner, which included hazelnut crusted ginger chicken, wasabai potatoes, and a vegetable medley, the program commenced.  Don Messinger received the 2007 Daniel D. Dauby award.  It was also announced that University Hospital is in the process of buying the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center property in order tobuild the Ireland Cancer facility.  The hospital will then donate a substantial sum to the center and they will move up the street to E. 112th and Euclid.

     A magic show featuring Manny Sperling the magician dazzled those in attendance.  Other magicians also entertained the crowd.  Maxine Landers served as the event chair.
