Prayers from Maria Children’s Glioma Cancer Foundation

More than 350 guests spent the evening bowling at the Corner Alley for Prayers from Maria Children’s Glioma Cancer Foundation’s Sunflower Soiree.

Guests enjoyed a menu of Italian sausage and peppers, beef medallions, mini reubens, plum chicken satay, mini quiche, Caribbean jerk chicken egg rolls with a coconut rum sauce, mini cheeseburgers and a variety of pizzas.

The silent auction included more than 80 prize packages with items such as four tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, an autographed Grady Sizemore baseball, an autographed Joshua Cribbs jersey, a behind-the-scenes tour of Channel 3’s studio and a shopping spree to Crocker Park.

The event raised about $50,000 for the Prayers from Maria Children’s Glioma Cancer Foundation.
