The 16th annual Jump Back Ball kicked off its Twisted Fairy Tales: A Grimm Brothers Night Out theme with a VIP reception on the State Theatre stage, featuring Vegas-style bartenders and hors d’oeuvres.

 

Following the VIP reception, the 950 guests — some wearing themed costumes — feasted on beef tenderloin, chicken schnitzel, Swedish meatballs and butternut ravioli prepared by Sammy’s and enjoyed drinks from the Grey Goose martini ice bar, which featured peartinis and
cosmopolitans.

DJ Packy Malley entertained the crowd before the party moved to the lobby for a performance by The Websters. The
State Theatre mezzanine served as a casino, complete with blackjack, craps and roulette for those feeling lucky, while the night ended with the dance band Run Avril Run taking the stage.

 

The event raised $120,000 for the Playhouse Square Foundation.
