From the Lobby Offers a Budget-Friendly Shopping Experience

There are no winding aisles or back rooms at From the Lobby in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood (it’s actually just a lobby), but the small storefront’s myriad of trendy finds easily provides a heaping dose of retail therapy — and that’s almost meant literally. From The Lobby shares its space with In Session, a women-centered therapy studio, and 5% of the gift shop’s sales go toward In Session’s Affordable Therapy Fund. Everything is priced at $50 or less; we went shopping to find how to get the most for that amount.

Greeting Card ($6)

Stationery brand Red Cap Cards collaborates with illustrators on witty, colorful greeting cards for every occasion — like this totally radical birthday number for your favorite skateboarder.

Vintage Vase ($18)

Across a wide selection of unique statement pieces, this vase is a charming vessel for a taper candle or a bundle of flowers. Its textured ceramic material and dark blue details add a sense of age.

Yin and Yang Claw Clip ($8)

The gift shop’s hand-poured candle line features a fine-tuned selection of fresh, nature-inspired scents with floral, woodsy and herbal notes. If clean had a smell, it would be this blend of mint, anise and powder.
