What I Look for in a Leader: I’m really interested in leaders who operate from a position of gratitude. We all owe something to the organizations we lead and the people we serve, and these positions are such privileges to hold. I am also looking for leaders who make things happen.

What Would Surprise Someone to Learn About Me: When I was 24 or 25, I spent the night in jail after getting arrested at a protest. I was protesting the threatened closure of a public radio station. I was released with credit for time served.
