What Motivates Me Right Now: I’m motivated by the opportunity to help more students persist, graduate and build lives of stability and purpose. We’re especially focused now on how philanthropy can remove real-life barriers — like food, housing, childcare and transportation — that too often stand between students and their goals. If Tri-C students succeed, Northeast Ohio is a stronger and more vibrant place for everyone.
What Would Surprise Someone to Learn About Me: I recently became a board-certified health and wellness coach. I am fascinated by the connection between well-being and career success.
An Important Lesson I Learned: Throughout my career I’ve learned that relationships are everything. Strategy matters, talent matters and execution matters, but trust is what allows meaningful work to happen, especially when things are complex or difficult.
If I Could Star in a TV Show or Movie: I’d be Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation. She’s very enthusiastic, deeply loyal to her community and always trying to make things a little better.
