What Success Looks Like to Me: Respected by those I’m closest to — at home and at work. Nothing worthwhile is truly built without respect.
What I Look for in a Leader: Leadership requires sacrifice, transparency, integrity and commitment/passion in the pursuit of team success. I’ve been very fortunate to work for great leaders the last 20-plus years of my career.
What Motivates Me Right Now: Improvement each day in my various roles — husband, father, coworker, etc.
My Leadership Style: Transparent. I pride myself on “not working in the shadows” with all of my professional partners. If I state our position, that is my intent.
What Would Surprise Someone to Learn About Me: I’m a certified train conductor. I needed certification to run a locomotive during a summer job in college working at a grain elevator.
Outside of Work You’ll Find Me: With my wife spending time with daughters London and Emerson, watching them explore their passions in tennis, horseback and dance. Or, enjoying an upland bird hunt with my father and brother in northern Michigan.
