How I Approach My Day: Each night I try to visualize the next day — where I’m driving, what meetings I have, who I’m going to be with, what my sons are doing after school and what events I’m attending. It helps me mentally prepare so I can wake up feeling focused on what I have to accomplish at work and home.

What I Look for in a Leader: Transparency, strong communication and a commitment to taking a step back and seeing how a decision will affect the whole organization and the team. A leader should constantly be able to see the whole picture and whether an effort is moving the organization forward with success.

If I Could Trade Places With Anyone: My son, going to college for the first time this fall. College brought me my career and friends for life.

My Leadership Style: Collaborative, kind, transparent and intentional — at least I hope that’s what others see, because I try hard to live these qualities.
