Stephanie Siegel

Executive Director, Ashtabula County Visitors Bureau

Education: John Carroll University

How I Approach My Day: In the tourism industry, we balance play with professionalism. I intentionally pace my chaotic calendar so that each task gets the attention it deserves and a work/life balance can fuel me for tomorrow.

What I Look for in a Leader: I look for authentic leaders who engage, inspire, adapt and seek out tomorrow’s ideas. Longevity does not equal leadership.

If I Could Trade Places With Anyone: My dog

My Leadership Style: Roll up your sleeves and lead by example while treating others as you want to be treated. Recognize when paradigms should be upheld and when they should be broken.

An Important Lesson I Learned: A clearly defined mission helps a team to confidently stay on track and work efficiently. Trying to please everyone will never get the best end result.

A Cleveland Spot I Recommend: Ohio Wine Country — over 30 wineries with rolling vineyards and live music transport you.
