Best of Cleveland 2017: Outdoor Lifestyle Shop

Think of Everarbor as a local version of Patagonia.

Think of Everarbor as a local version of Patagonia. Derek Skapes’ Tremont shop is rooted in a passion for the outdoors and is filled with the items you need to do it in style. Here you’ll find T-shirts ($19.99) made in a poly-cotton blend to absorb moisture and embroidered snapback hats ($29.99) in soft gray wool. Green thumbs have been buzzing about Everbrew, a nitrogen-rich and organic soil additive made from barley and coffee grounds ($29.99 for five gallons). But even if nature isn’t your thing, there’s still something for you here. The staff can help with landscaping, tree removal and wildlife rescues among other services. “In Cleveland, we have four seasons, and people here don’t like that for some reason,” he says. “That’s simply our goal: to appreciate the elements. As it says on the back of all our shirts: step outside.” 2617 Scranton Road, Cleveland, 440-823-7945, everarborco.com
