If you’re a Cleveland sports fan, you know misery. But at least we have the sardonic voices of Craig Lyndall and friends to listen to as we wallow. Waiting For Next Year, a podcast named after that infamous, too-often-uttered phrase, has endured — thanks to sharp commentary so unafraid to rail against the city’s incompetent sports organizations, it could only come from an independent fan voice such as Lyndall’s. Stream episodes such as “The NFL Should Confiscate The Browns From The Haslam Family” for evidence. And when the Cavs suck, baseball is in spring training or the Browns are off, the hosts localize conversations on coronaviruses, movies or other pop culture rather than engage in the ever-churning rumor mill. There is, after all, always another year to wait around for. wfnypod.libsyn.com
